- Why is Jim looking at me like that? Does he not like my hair? I know he must not be liking it but what could I do with $1.87?
- Oh no! Della cut her hair! How is she going to use the beautiful combs that I bought for her?
- Della looked very worried. I think she thought that I don't like her hair! Let me show her the combs I bought for her to make her happy and to show that I looked shocked because now, they won't be of any use.
- But i think Jim will really love the gift i bought him. Now, he wont have to look secretly at his watch! I really hope he likes it.
- Oh wow!! Jim has bought me the combs that I've wanted! But it's a shame that I can't use them. Let me at least show him his gift so we both can be happy.
- Della looks very happy on seeing her gift! I'm so glad she likes it. What's that she got out? Oh, it's a fob chain for my watch! It looks so smart! But it's too bad that I can't use it as I sold my watch to get Della's gift!
