Boston Dec. 15 1773, Samuel Adams meets and discusses what to do about the Tea Act of 1773. That acted passes a higher tax on tea and the colonists in Boston were ready to do something about it.
Later that day, Samuel Adams and his group, the Sons of Liberty, came together to spread the word of their plan.
On the night of Dec. 16, Samuel Adams led his group of rebels dressed as Native Americans on to a British ship in the Boston Harbor. The group threw the crates of tea in to the water, ruining an entire shipment of British tea.
