- Hello everyone today I will tell you a story that I knew and it is very interesting
- The acused are Francis Evelyn, 58, a coustodian at Brooklyn's Public School in New York City
- Having spent nearly 20 years on the job, Evelyn was well respected at work and in his neighborhood
- Background
- in 2007 police officers arived at PS 91, arrested Evelyn, cuffed him, and took him away for questioning.
- why?
- The police commissioner announced that Evelyn was accused of the "heinous rape of an eight-year -old student on multiple occasions".
- They said they had DNA evidence against him up in Rikers Island with actual murderrs and rapists
- Three days later, police finally interviewed the acuser. it turned out that she was know as a troubled child who had lied about being abused on previous occasions
- Wores still, the girl decribed her attacker as bald, black man, yet cops arrested Evelyn, who is White.
