- yes me too. i think its Quetzalcoatl
- I've heard a man with light skin and a beard might come to us!
- or an omen could come to us...
- who are these strange people?
- why yes that is I! may I change into my sacred clothes
- are you the sacred god Quetzalcoatl?
- could this be him?
- the Aztecs talk about their daily lives and about their predictions of the future. they believe Quetzalcoatl will be accompanying them for some time.
- Montezuma i think its really him!
- yes i think so too this is so exciting!
- the Spanish arrive to Tenochtitlan and find the Aztecs and the Aztecs are unsure of who have found them. could it be Quetzalcoatl and his mighty crew?
- muaahhahahhaha
- the Aztecs meet Cortes and wonder if he could possibly be Quetzalcoatl. he has the same features and everything. Cortes wonders what they are talking about. he wants to be the most powerful and admired so he plays along.
- ATTACK!
- after Cortes butters up Montezuma, he believes its really him and respects his "god"
- when Cortes gets into sacred clothing and acts like a god, it is so much more than believable. until Cortes stabbed Montezuma in the back and causes war 😨
- they attacked the Aztec and left like it was nothing. i believe they took some gold and valuable items with them.
