- To try and kill Rasputin, Yusupov gives him cookies with cyanide in them, as well as a glass of wine with cyanide.
- Since this does not kill Rasputin, Yusupov shoots him but doesn't know that he is still alive.
- Yusupov throws Rasputin over a bridge into the river. It actually turns out that he was still breathing when he was in the river.
- Revolution broke out in Russia about the country's involvement in the war.
- Czar Nicholas Romanov was forced out of his throne and Vladimir Lenin took over and wanted to make Russia a communist state.
- The Czar and his family are executed.
