- Hello. My name is Octavius. I am a Patrician and today my father is teaching me to fight.
- Hello. My name is Cadmus. I am a Plebeian in the Roman Empire, which means that my family and I life in a cramped room sharing with another family. Today I am working on the farm.
- I have the option of commanding an army and lead Rome to victory.
- I help my father in the fields. My education had stopped long ago.
- I have priority for baths early, moving from three different ones. They are hot, cold and warm.
- When I am allowed into the baths, the water is murky since the upper-class use it before us and they are no longer warm.
- Dinner is a formal affair starting at 3 o'clock in the afternoon and carries on until midnight. Slaves attend to my every need. I need more food!
- Dinner for me is usually bread, water and porridge.
- Usually I eat and drink so much that I vomit to be able to continue eating - the service does not stop for a while and we do not refuse food.
- I share my bed with other people as we are not rich enough to have one for every person in the apartment.
