The Duke of Athens is to be married to Queen of the Amazon. During festival preparations two young men Demetrius and Lysander meet a young nobleman’s daughter Hermia. Both men fall in love with her however, her father gives her permission to marry Demetrius yet it is Lysander that she loves.
Conflict
Hermia runs away with her love. However, before she does she tells her friend Helena who is in love with Demetrius. She in turn tells him in hopes to win some favor in his eyes. They all end up running into the woods after one another.
In the woods, a fairy named Robin Goodfellow tries to solve the love triangle and accidentally makes Lysander fall in love with Helena. Then trying to fix the issue he makes Demetrius fall for her too. Now everyone loves Helena and no one loves Hermia.
Rising Action
Climax
With the men fighting over Helena and the Hermia mad at Helena, Puck (Robin) manages to separate them all so they don't end up killing each other. Once they fell asleep Puck reversed the spell and righted his wrong!
Falling Action
The Duke happens to be riding in the forest and stumbles upon the lovers and after hearing their story he is confused but invites them all to be married during his ceremony!
Denouement
In the end everyone is married! The play “Pyramus and Thisbe” is performed, and the Puck (Robin) ends the play by asking the audience to remember it all as if it were a dream!
