Welcome kids! I'm Ted Goldberg, an agent here in the Bureau of Counterterrorism. I know you learned a lot about what terrorism is, now you'll learn how we work to prevent it!
Wow! So you save people's lives?
Like superheroes!
In the bus!
Agent Carter is right! They target places that will give them the most attention. Or something that symbolizes what they are against, such as a government building or a religious site.
Eating at a restaurant!
Well, even karate fighters need to be careful. The targets of terrorist attacks often are crowded places where people normally feel safe, such as bus stops, or shopping malls.
First, we need to foresee where the attacks can happen. What are some places you feel safe?
I feel safe everywhere. I know karate.
The most common are bombs and bullets.
But how can you stop the bombs?
Now, here we analyze the weapons they use. Where, how, and when they got them...
Well, kids, very soon you'll meet the team that puts all the knowledge we get here in the headquarters into action.
