This is the Paleolithic Era. I am Sally and he is Mark. We live in big groups of about 40 to 60 people. We live in temporary shelters as we are constantly on the move for food. Our shelters consist of caves. Also, we invented fire.
Everyday the men go hunt in groups and the women stay back and either cook food, make tools or make clothes out of a hunted animal.

Dinner is ready. We can now peel off the skin and get new clothes and yummy flesh.
Introduction to the Neolithic Era
This is the Neolithic Era, the new stone age. Hi I'm Stacy and that is Mack. In this era agriculture began, so, we didn't need to move place to place for food, we could civilize in an area and permanently settle there, making civilizations.
That's not all. In the Neolithic Era there is much more than growing and hunting for food. In this Era we domesticated animals for use, loomed clothes, invented new tools, built stronger houses, and learned the art of handicrafts.

Tools used for farming - Rakes, Shovels, and Ploughs.
As the day is ending a boy cooks food using harvested grains and chopped meat. While the girl sells her handiwork and another boy takes the domesticated animal . to its stable.
All in all the key difference between our era and Paleolithic Era's is that our Era is more developed and we have permanent settlements because of agriculture. But, the similarities are that in both Eras we used tools of some sort and ate meat.
