- We have quite the differences and similarities with the north and northwest cultures. For example, what we do differently is...
- They have their own cultural language,they depended on dogs for many tasks,they traded with people,they had feasts called 'potlatches'where they would give most of there belongings as gifts,(potchland hosts increse their social status and power from it) and they survived by fishing and hunting large animals.
- Native Americans in the Pacific Northwest carved images of totems, they carved ancestors or animal spirits—on tall, wooden poles.Totem poles held great religious and historical significance for Native Americans of the Northwest.
- We don't depend on dogs to do tasks, we dont trade with people (we kinda do, but not exactly how they do it), and we have different homes. Similarites we have is we have our own cultural languages, we do feasts on holidays where we would give belongings as gifts like chrsitmas or thanksgiving, and we technically survive from fishing and hunting animals because its food for us.
