  • When Albert Was a Boy 
  • In trouble 
  • A New Start
  • Albert Einstein was born in Ulm, Germany, and he lived there with his family for about a year.  He was born on March 14, 1879.   When his baby sister, Maja was born they were living in Munich the capital of southern Germany. They moved there to start a electrochemical business together. 
  • Albert's Happiest Thought 
  • When Albert was 15 his family's business  ran into trouble.  They wouldn't raise enough funds to keep the business running. Eventually they realized they had to move, Albert was devastated.  So they kept him back to finish school. 
  • Fame 
  • In 1902 Albert began to work at the Bern patent office. He learned many technologically things about how to read and analyze inventions.  Also working at the office gave Albert many ideas. A few weeks later he published scientific papers. 
  • The March to war 
  • In 1905 Albert revised his molecules paper and sent it to the University of Zurich. It got published as well as a few other of his papers. Now moving a few years forward, Albert in 1911 he attended the Solvay conference in Brussels, where he spoke to famous physicist. At age 32 he was one of the youngest physicist at the conference.   
  • By 1919 Albert was well known in the town that he lives in and in Germany but not in other parts of the world. Then a famous scientist, Arthur Eddington thought he had potential and made him world wide before he knew it. But as all of this was happening his mom was suffering with cancer so he had to go back home to Switzerland and spend his last few days with her.
  • By 1993 everyone knew of him. He gave speeches all over the world, one speach 10,000 people came.
