Storyboard Text
- In this scene Pi Patel joins into two new religions, without his parents knowing. He is now apart of hinduism, christianity, and islam. When these three wise men and his parents find out, they are all shocked because of the fact that the religions go against each other. Now that they know they all want him to only choose one, but he sticks with all three religions.
- Mrs. and Mr. Patel decided to move the family and the zoo to Canada. He had sold some of the animals, and the rest were coming with them. When doing so, the animals and them boarded the Tsimtsum cargo ship. The ship had sank mysteriously. With this the only surviors were Pi, a zebra, a heyeana, a orangutan, and Richard Parker-the tiger.
- Pi soon learns how to live on the raft with the group of wild animals. Doing so, he learns how to tame Richard Parker so that he doesn't get eaten. In the mean time, the animals were at each others throats-except for Richard Parker. The zebra, orangutan, and hyena had all died. Pi had learned how to fish for food, for which Richard Parker and him had eaten turtles and flying fish. During this time, he had set up a water system that turns salt water into fresh water.
- The ships raft had broken off during a storm in the night time. Pi and Richard Parker had now arrived at an island. Richard Parker had run off, while Pi quickly find out that the island actually eats people! It is very high in acidity at night, even though during the day it has fresh clean water with no acid. Pi Patel waits for him to come back to the boat. Then he pushes it off of the shore, doing so he climbs in and there off again.
- Pi and Richard Parker had washed up on the shore of Mexico. Richard Parker had ran off, without saying good bye to Pi, to find a new home. Natives had discovered Pi in his life boat, and took him to the hospital. Where he than woke up in the hospital bed.
- When Pi woke up, two investigators had come in wanting to ask him questions about how and why the ship sank. Pi Patel had told them the true story, which they did not believe. Since they did not believe it he had told them a made up one as well. They see the similarities between the two, and now believe his original story-the true one. He receives money and care for his troubles. Pi Patel than moves on to start new chapter in his life in Canada, where we never hear from him again.
