- My daughter, why don't you try working at the primary school?
- My name is Lily and I spent the first 25 years of my life living in a refugee camp on the border of Thailand and Myanmar.
- Hi, I'm Lily
- I'm Samson, I am the primary school teacher.
- Finally, a visa for Australia. After so many years in this camp.
- When I finished high school, I didn't know what I should do. There were no jobs in the camp, no future. My family had applied for visas to come to Australia, but we were still waiting.
- On my first day working at the school, I met Samson and we quickly fell in love.
- I came home one afternoon and found that my family had been accepted to come to Australia .
- I felt ecstatic and devastated at the same time. Ecstatic, to finally have a future and devastated to leave Samson.
- It was extremely difficult to say goodbye.
