Storyboard Text

  • Location
  • Hey there!
  • Achievement 1
  • Achievement 2
  • When:  The Mayan civilization was in 250 A.D. Where:  The  Mayan civilization was located  in Central America , and they moved southward through Guatemala, Belize, El  Salvador, and Honduras.
  • Achievement 3
  • This picture is representing that the  priest made the number  0,  and its  symbol to represent it.  The person is the priest, and  under the number 0 is  0's symbol.
  • How  the  Mayan civilization came to an end
  • This picture is representing that the Mayans made gold jewelry as you can see in the picture I have 2 examples of necklaces, and 1 example of a bracelet.  The girl that has  the 2 necklaces in front of her  is making them, and the other girl is wearing a gold bracelet.
  • Which  theory most likely happened
  • This picture represents that the Mayans made observatories to study the stars. The stars were useful for  the Mayans   because they would  predict when the seasons would come and go.
  • 1. A severe  drought,  2.  Over hunting,  3. Foreign invasion,  4. Peasant revolt,  5. Alien  invasion,  6. Supernatural forces I think that  the Mayans did not have  an alien invasion because they were dilling with  rainfall conditions, and  in the reading of their history it says nothing about alien invasions from all that I have read.
  • I  think that  the  severe drought theory was  the theory that most likely happened because the Mayans  started not having  hardly any rain, and they would go without water for some time, because the  Mayans cut down a lot of  trees,  and it was hard for the sun to absorb  that much moist to make it rain, so when it would rain it would only rain a little.
