A group of girls were dancing and doing voodoo around a cauldron in the woods. The save themselves from getting in trouble, they say certain people in town made them sign the devils book. Reverend Hale decides he should call Reverend Hale, an expert of witchcraft.
ACT 4: CLIMAX
Reverend Hale accuses half the town of witchcraft. Abigail talks to John Proctor in hopes of discussing their relationship. John Proctor does not want to hear any of it and pushes her away.
ACT 5: FALLING ACTION
Abigail accuses John Proctors wife Elizabeth Proctor of witchcraft in attempt to get rid of her so Abigail can have John for herself.
ACT 6: RESOLUTION
John Proctor sends Mary Warren to court in attempt to testify that Abigail and the girls are lying. When she comes back, she tells them that the girls turned against her and convinced her that she is being bewitched by John Proctor. Both John and Elizabeth get arrested.
After Elizabeth gets taken to jail, John Proctor goes into court and confesses his affair with Abigail Williams. Elizabeth lies and says John didn't commit adultery to try to save him. They schedule his hanging date.
John Proctor signs a document saying that he committed adultery. He then rips it up saying you saw me sign it because having that around town would put shame to his name. Elizabeth Proctor gets 6 months to born her new child until she gets hanged. Abigail leaves town to Barbados.
