- There are three layers of earth crust, mantle and core. The crust is the outermost layer upon which we live. it is composed of silicon, soil and minerals. Mantle is made up of semi molten rock called magma and is composed of magnesium and iron.

- Core is divided into two parts. The outer core and the inner core. The inner core has a temperature of 5,500c and is made up of nickel iron alloy. The inner core is the engine room of the earth . it has the same temperature as outer core. It is mostly made up of iron
