- Go wisely and slowly. Those who rush stumble and fall.
- Let’s get out of here. I’m in a rush.
- Come break this up, Benvolio. I’m losing this duel of wits.
- Romeo is hiding from his cousin Benvolio, and Mercutio in Juliet's backyard. Benvolio and Mercutio keep trying to talk to him to get him to come out. Mercutio thinks talking to him will get him to show himself, Benvolio insits they go over the wall to where he thinks he is hiding

- This is a bad joke. It’s all silliness.

- it starts off as Juliet talking to herself not knowing Romeo is outside listening to her. then Romeo chimes in and she begins talking to him. they talk about how he should change his name so they can be lovers.
- scene 5
- romeo is talking to his dad early in the morning about his new love. Romeo goes on about how he has forgotten about Rosaline and he loves a new girl Juliet. Friar keeps telling Romeo he needs to take his time and actually love her instead of obsessing over her. Romeo does not care and Friar goes along with it because he hopes it will end the feud between the montagues and the capulets
- romeo and mercutio are making innapropriate jokes to eachother back and forth until romeo says enough. then mercutio tells benvolioo to come break it up because he's losing the battle of wits. then the nurse and peter walk in and start scolding them on their dirty jokes.
- Stop there, stop there.
- the nurse brings news to Juliet that Romeo has planned a wedding with Friar Lawrence for them. it takes a while for the nurse to tell her though because she is out of breath and hurting from running around town all day.
