- At age 15 war broke out,fighting everywhere.I applied to the Women's Army Corps,They rejected me without a care.

- I was barred from jobs because of how I looked,but that did not stop me.Every day for 3 weeks I persisted,eventually, I did succeed.I worked long and hard, but eventually returned to school.Going back to school was hard,but the thought of not being able to learn was much more cruel.
- Sepember 8th 1945,my life was filled with joy.For on that day Clyde Bailey Johnsonbecame my baby boy.
- I took on many jobsand eventually married Tosh Angelos.I did take his surname,although the marriage eventually came to a close.

- I loved to perform,I loved each role I got.I performed professionally in many shows,for them I traveled quite a lot.
- I found myself again in writing,"I Know why the Caged Bird Sings."I loved writing peotry,I wrote about many many themes.
