  • In 1730 the Acadians signed the Oath of Allegiance to the British to be neutral.
  • I'm so glad there will finally be peace!

  • The acadians continued to supply the French forts with food and firewood, the British weren't happy. Charles La Werence (gov of N.S.) didn't trust the Acadians and decided to expel them.
  • "This should be enough to last a few days."

  • The Acadians had to live all of there stuff behind except what they could cary in there arms.
  • The Acadians were shipped to England, Conneticut, Georgia, Mayland, Massochusetts, NewYork, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and South Carolina
  • This is a map of all the places that the Acadians got shipped and how far of a trip was. 
  • Some of the Acadians escaped with the help of the local Mi'Kmag. Many were captured and deported. Expulsion caused problems for the Mi'kmag who lived peacefully with the Acadians.
