  • Nope no Gold over here!
  • Do you have any GOLD that you can spare?
  • Oh no seems like a numerous amount of our workers have died from diseases what shall we do now!!!!! *Decisions Decisions*
  • I have an idea we should travel to Africa to capture Africans so we can sell them to the people of the Americas for gold!
  • What are we going to do now that we don't have that much slave workers ?!!!
  • Sounds like a good idea my fellow comrade we should set sail to Africa to capture some Africans for gold! Going to be a long journey!
  • Come & sit down over here you won't be able to go back to your precious homeland what so ever!
  • Europeans came to my country to ask for Gold & Raw materials such as coal, grain, & minerals
  • Yeah, what he said now sit down quietly or else....
  • I miss my family, my friends, & my country of Africa. I feel so homesick being on this ship for so long.....
  • During the time of exploration in Africa, millions of Native American workers began to die of sickness. Sickness such as famine, The flu, respiratory infections, malaria, & such other diseases that nobody knew how to cure around that time because of the reasoning of having no doctors around in my country.
  • I can't wait for this trade to go well we are going to be rich with all the gold we are going to get!
  • Can't wait either we're going to drink a lot of beer & bring resources back at our home in Portugal!
  • Wait what! PROPERTY?!!!!!I miss my country *extremely emotional but fought hard to try to be able to reunite with the rest of my family.*
  • The Europeans then decided that Africans would be a perfect substitute for the Native Americans in colonizing the Americas. Whereas one morning I was captured by a couple of new Europeans with no hesitation including other Africans from different parts of Africa.
  • Welcome to our Plantation/ family were you will be on the field working with fellows of your kind. You are my property now.
  • Welcome!
  • I didn't realize that I was apart of a trade nor realize where I was going to be sold being enslaved. Knowing that being away from my friends & family back in Africa is so sad! A bunch of Europeans brought & sold my fellow Africans to work in the Americas.
  • Between the years 1500 and 1600, approximately 300,000 Africans were transported to the Americas to work for their owners & sadly I was apart of that profit where I knew that Euro-Americans were happy for making business.
  • On that morning Africans such as I were sent to plantations and farms for cheap labor to contribute to colonizing the Americas. Working hard to adapt my new way of living under somebody else which is more difficult then working for myself. Feeling scared & nervous that I'm used as merely a tool for work & treated as an object towards my slave masters.
