Wansapanataym,in a small village called Limarayon. There was an old lady new to the village. She was welcomed by the residents of the village. Then one day, a pregnant resident of the village passed by the old lady, the old lady asked "Can I touch your belly?" then the pregnant woman refused to let the old lady as she was not feeling well.
A weekpassed, the pregnant woman was in labor in her house at night. All of theelders in the village was present to deliver the baby and to protect it. InFilipino myths there are a lot of creatures that exist such as Aswang, Manananggal,Capre, Tikbalang, Dwende, etc. are very common folktales in Filipino culture.
Suddenly they heard a loud thud on their roof, after close investigation they saw a peculiar looking pig standing on their roof. When they saw the pig the elders of the village immediately started searching the house for garlic, salt, and Makabuhay plant also known as Tinospora Cordiflia. They started burning incense with crushed garlic and Makabuhay Plant and placed salt around the pregnant woman. After that a few of the elders searched the house once again for the peculiar pig while the ones left assisted in giving birth.
