- Wouldn't it be cool if leaves float in the air instead of falling to the ground ?
- But why is that mom ?
- Well,
- Well, that's because there is an energy called gravity, present on earth.
- Huh, What's Gravity ?
- Gravitational force is the force that attracts any two objects with mass
- Gravity is the pull from Earth that keeps things from going into space. This gravitational force makes the ball on the dirt stay on the dirt. The ball stays on the dirt because it is smaller and has less mass than the Earth, so it has a smaller force of gravity than the Earth.
- The famous mathematician and physicist, Sir Isaac Newton, also created the law of universal gravitation. The law states that every single object in the universe can attract to every other object with a gravitational force.

- yes, gravitational force is a force that attracts any two objects that has mass and leaves will not float because earth has gravitational force.
