  • Brrr its Freezing and im so hungry.
  • In December 1777 General George Washington moved the continental Amry to their quarters at Valley Forge. And they built forts and camps to stay.
  • Late in 1777, Congress declared a day of thanksgiving for the army's success. So They were all able to get food and have a meal from their success even though the war wasn't over.
  • The American soldier had no warm clothes or food and they were very cold. They were all at their camp area in the valley Forge wish nothing and the way still going on.
  • The Americans traded the gold to the British for food. Since the Americans didn't have much food or clothes they traded the gold they had for food so they don't starve.
  • Baron Friedrich von Steuben helped the Americans find a new technique to fight. The strategy he used was having the soldiers do Prussian-style drills.
  • Marquis de lafayette's richest men and helped them by clothes with his own money. Then he shared hard ships of Valley Forge.
