- We are here to collect your sugar taxation
- The Sugar Act The British legislation tried to end smuggling and trade of sugar and molasses so they increased revenues for sugar and molasses
- Boston tea PartyThe Colonists proceed to throw thousands of pounds of tea. They throw and ruin so much tea is the water that they end up throwing 18,000 pounds of tea into the harbor
- We will punish those colonists for their actions of destroying thousands of pounds of tea
- Intolerable Acts A series of four laws passed by the British Parliament to punish the colony of Massachusetts Bay for the Boston Tea Party
- The Boston Massacre The Boston massacre was a street fight between colonists and Boston soldiers, 5 colonists ended up getting shot and killed by the British soldiers. The massacre ended up leading to the Revolutionary War.
- We will force those colonists to pay extra for any products that are made of paper no matter what
- The Stamp Act The stamp act was a action of the British putting a tax on newspapers, almanacs, pamphlets, playing cards, ect. Stamps were affixed to confirm that the tax has been paid
- We have to tax those Americans for the goods they are trying to import from Great Britain
- The Town Shed Acts Parliament tried to assert it's authority by trying to tax goods that Americans imported from Great Britain
