- Cytokinesis is where the cell actually divides! Cell membrane pinches inwards and fully divides into two !
- Don't forget that External proteins are outside the cell and they are responsible for responding to 'events' that take place outside the cell... it basically directs the cell to slow or speed the cell cycle depending on outside of the cell situations
- Did you know that a cell is regulated by Cyclins and Regulatory Proteins
- Yes! In fact, there are internal AND external regulatory proteins. The internal proteins are inside the cell and they are responsible for making sure the cell is ready for the next step/task it has only when the cell is in a good condition.
- Back then, scientists this protein (cyclin) undergoing mitosis and injected it into a non-dividing cell... they noticed mitotic spindles starting to form.
- Cyclins also regulate the cell and they are one of the most important regulators ! Cyclin is a protein found in a cell undergoing mitosis.
