In the exposition of the story, we are introduced to our main character Mary Maloney, the expecting, loving housewife, and her husband Patrick Maloney. The story takes place in Mary's house where Patrick is acting strange.
Climax
I murdered him. oops
The conflict of the story is when Patrick explains to Mary that he is leaving her. Considering that she is pregnant he insists to make sure she is taken care of and will lend her money.
Falling Action
In the rising action, Mary refuses to believe what her husband told her and insists on making him supper. Mary takes out a frozen leg lamb and heads upstairs to her husband. Her husband insisted that he was going out and didn't want anything to eat.
Resolution
This is really good. Imagine if the murder weapon was right under our nose!
HAHAHAHAH
In the climax, Mary murders her husband. With a frozen leg lamb, she smacks him on the back of his head to death. He collapses. She then puts the lamb in the oven.
In the falling action, Mary informs the police of the death of her husband and they come to investigate. She pretends she did not kill her husband so she will not get caught. The police then search the house for the murder weapon while Mary who is not a suspect is "deeply devasted" by the death of her husband.
In the resolution of the story, Mary persuades the police to eat the leg of lamb so they wouldn't suspect a thing. Mary then laughs as they consume the lamb.
