ok then, there are 3 equations, ill give you all 3,1.y=x^2+82.x=y^2-4x^2+y^2=9Now you have to tell me if there symmetric to any axis or even both
Ok so in the first equation ill have to see if its symmetric by putting a negative in front of the x. So y=(-x)^2+8. If i power it by 2 the -x its the same value as the positive x. But this can not be said for y. So the first equation is Symmetric with respect to the y-axis

For the second equation I would pretty much do the same but this time I will put the negative in front of the Y to make it x=(-y)^2-4. The y would be powered by 2 making it stay the same value as the positive y. But this inst true for x. So this equation would only be symmetric with respect to the x-axis.
For the last equation I will set up the same. x^2+y^2=9. I will put a negative on both x and y. It will look like (-x)^2+(-y)^2=9. If i power both by two both x and y come out exactly the same as the positive equation. So this equation would be Symmetric with respect to both x and y axis as well as the origin.
