This meeting was called because the French Government was having many financial problems. The First and Second estate vote out the Third estate so they can't make decisions.
Also, The First French Republic & The Reign of Terror, 1792-1795
Many people died and many people were also arrested.
King Louis XVI didn't like the formation or actions of the National Assembly. They held a meeting at a count and took an oath to not leave util a decision was made and made them a legitimate body.
Then, The Napoleon & French Empire, 1799-1814

The Storming of Bastille took place in Paris on July 14, 1789. This act was an attack on the government and people of France to start the French Revolution. The revolutionaries who stormed the Bastille were mostly store owners who lived there. They were members of the Third estate. There were many people that took part in this fight.
Lastly, The Congress of Vienna and peace, 1814-1815

The Reign of Terror was a violent time during the French Revolution. Radicals took control of it. They arrested and executed anyone that seemed loyal. even if they were innocent. Around 17,000 people were executed or killed. Many died in prison. Around 200,000 people were arrested.
The dictator, Napoleon was able to make a number of government reforms. He also helped improve the economy by building new roads which encouraged trade and business. Where Peace was maintained.
The Congress of Vienna was good because the balance of power went back to Europe. They failed to address the sense of Nationalism that was inspired through the revolution.
