- Percy Jackson is a dyslexic 12 year old kid who goes to Yancy Academy. Yancy Academy is a private school for troubled kids like Percy.

- Percy’s identity has leaked and he is in grave danger from monsters attacking him. Sally Jackson and Grover Underwood take him to Camp Half-Blood by car in the middle of a hurricane.
- The Supreme Ordeal

- After a lot of confusion at Camp Half-Blood, Chiron sends Annabeth Chase, Grover Underwood, and Percy Jackson on a quest with no protection.

- The three visit a garden and end up running into an enemy, Medusa. In this case, the allies are Annabeth and Grover, and the enemy is Medusa.

- Percy, Annabeth, and Grover find out that Ares was the thief. He stole the helm from Hades and stole the lightning bolt from Zeus. He tricked Percy and framed him. As Percy steps up to battle Ares, he becomes more brave and fearless.

- Percy, Annabeth, and Grover return to Camp Half-Blood. When Luke starts acting weird, Percy then realizes that Luke is the betrayer. Luke attempts to kill Percy but fails. Percy decides to stay at Camp Half-Blood.
