  • I wonder if two alleles of a gen can be inherited resulting in a trait from an offspring?
  • I'll start by getting these two different peas and create a hybrid from them.
  • Mendel's work does a lot to relating to what we know about DNA. This is because Mendel figured out recessive genes and dominant genes, which is the base for genetics as we know it today.
  • Hmm... I wonder why all of the offspring are white?
  • Now I get it. Their must be recessive genes, where you need two of the same gene to get the trait like the green pee. Then a dominate gene like the white pea where you only need one gene to produce a trait.
  • I just found Gregor mendel's recording of his findings and can't wait to tell everyone this guy discovered how genes are passed from generation to generation!
