  • Initial introduction. Include large text and titles for both texts. Include posters or visual elements to represent both texts. (Photos can't be added on this website, but probably a more appropriate photo would be used.
  • Beginning of thesis statement. Have background blurred into backdrop featuring aboriginal themes or clips found.
  • Shot 5

  • Further explanation of thesis, finish it before 1.30. If it carries over this, consider cutting it down and eliminating some elements. Feature dynamic background, preferably a video.

  • Introduction to Tony Birch's Harmless Joe. Perhaps give context to the scene and provide background knowledge on the setting and the characters, giving the watching some idea of what is being discussed.
  • Shot 4
  • Introduction to Oodgeroo Noonuccal's We Are Going. Again, provide context to the text and introduce the basic Author's purpose and effect on the audience. Perhaps provide some information on the persona and narrator voice, as their is not a whole lot on the character front. Maximum 2 minutes should have been used by this time.
  • First quote and analysis from Harmless Joe. Ensure that only crucial elements that support the thesis are included.
