- In his story Harrison Bergeron, Kurt Vonnegut makes the point to show how crazy and wrong it can be to try to 'fit in'. When people hide themselves back from who they truly are, it can make their life simple. These scenes I chose to show that. In result of the government, in this case, wanting everyone to be the same in everything, Harrison goes crazy because he believes that you need to be yourself. Trying to make everything equal and fair can result in rebellion and causes.
