  • Introduction
  • Bullying is NOT okay
  • Stop Bullying
  • Narration
  • A poll shows that more than half of secondary school teachers say bullying is a problem!!I would say one of the most painful things about being bullied is not so much the humiliation and fear—though obviously that’s a large part—but the confusion. Why is this person doing this to me? What did I do to deserve it?
  • Bullying is generally thought of as an intentional, harmful behaviour which is carried out repeatedly
  • Confirmation-Novel
  • Showing more awareness to the problem of bullying in schools and in public can help people see the consequence that could come from bullying and how it effects people mental health or just there health over all
  • Confirmation-Research
  • The detrimental outcomes of bullying have been identified across the globe. Longitudinal research has demonstrated that these negative results can last into adulthood, with effects that include depression and anxiety. We often focus on the person who is being bullied, but research has also shown bullies are more likely to report negative outcomes in later life.
  • "Van Clay argues that schools need to develop a set of shared cultural values for anti-bullying initiatives and other school-improvement efforts to succeed in producing long-lasting change."
  • Concession/Refutation
  • Bullying leaves scars unseen, it breaks people down, makes them lose self confindence, not believe in themesleves which is why there should be more awareness.
  • Bullying is all within the book of Ender's Game, yet there is nothing done about and nothing to prevent or stop the bullying. "Where are the teachers? thought Ender. Don't they realize that the first contact between us in this fight might be the end of it?" the teachers never tried to prevent in bullying that was going to lead to fight that ended very badly .
  • Conclusion
  • "Bullying is a problem for schools worldwide. It is a fairly common behavior, although it can be difficult to identify.“Such bullying happens not only in schools, but also in workplaces, and pretty much any place where you put more than a dozen people together.” If children were taught to collectively “name and shame” bullies, bullying would fall. Nothing in the end is stronger than peer pressure—and in that fashion, the same force that often brings about bullying, can also make it cease. "
  • The opposing point of view might be that it may not be necessary and might make the bullying worse in that environment because now they want to "defy" the rules or warnings. Also they may see it as that maybe the younger kids didn't realize whats happening to them or the other kid might not understanding what there doing to there peers so when they find out whats happening it then may upset them.
  • The opposing view is while people think bullying is bad they do not agree with bringing awareness they believe it's a waste of time
  • In conclusion, I do believe bringing more awareness to the bullying in school and in public will help to decrease the numbers of students or people being bullying in that environment. Also it can show how it's not okay to just watch
  • Being mindful of others, being aware of how bullying hurts can help make the world a better place
