- The conflict of the story was when Fortunato made fun of motreasor name for years so motreasor invited him over for wine but really was getting revenge.

- The rising action was when motreasor was asking Fortunato into the wine vault to let him try a wine he didn't have to get revenge.
- Resolution
- The climax was when he locked him in the vault and started stacking the wall of rocks he told him that the wine was in there he saw two chains and then he knew what was going on
- Was when motreaser put the final stone in the way and left him there

- the resolution was that he got his revenge about his name in the end and avenged his family name and killed him.
