  • So we need an Linear equation!
  • I've just noticed that a bullet travels 3500 ft./sec when it is 25 ft. from a gun and 2600 ft./sec when it is 250 feet away.
  • So that means the speed a bullet is traveling depends on the number of feet it is away from the gun, we should try to figure this out it could be useful in later missions

  • The linear equation would be y = -4x + 3600 which we would use to determine the speed of the bullet in terms of its distance from the gun.
  • I gotta write this down this will real useful on later missions

  • So how fast would be going when it has traveled 300 ft.?
  • About 825 ft./sec
  • Just by using the linear equation
  • About 900 ft./sec
  • What about right after the trigger is pulled?

  • It would be 1600 ft. away from the gun
  • How far would a bullet have to travel when it had slowed down to 550 ft./sec
  • It would have traveled 3600 ft.
  • What if the bullet stopped, how far would it travel?

  • And the slope would be -4/1 which represents that the velocity of the bullet decreases by -4 every one foot it is from the gun
