- The French and Indian War
- How are we supposed to fight with a limited supply of weapons
- We need to get income from somewhere but we can't put taxes on the people because we have no more money. I think I have the perfect idea...
- All these wars have put a big strain on our money. We are broke.
- That'll show those British scumbags!
- Sir, we have no more weapons and most of our military has died. We need more funding for our military.
- The Stamp Act
- We have to put expensive stamps on almost every piece of paper. This is madness.
- This is crazy. If this is happening, there's no way I'm using paper anymore until this nonsense is over.
- As from this point forward, you are to stamp newspapers, almanacs, legal documents, dice, playing cards and more. And pay the tax for that paper.
- Again with the taxes, our colonists are hanging on by a thread. We have no money for ourselves.
- From this point forward, we will put a tax on all tea that is being sold that has been imported from Great Britain.
