- Theme - Greediness only leads to loss.
- Because of this "Golden Touch," I have turned my beloved daughter into gold!
- Irony - It's ironic how King Midas thought having the "gold touch" would make his life better, but it did the complete opposite.
- How am I supposed to eat or drink?
- The Midas Touch is when someone is very lucky. Usually financially. Everything they do or have, turns into gold; success.
- Thanks. It's just by luck.
- You're so lucky when it comes to money. You definitely have the 'Midas Touch.'
- King Midas was a responsible man. He owned up to his actions and took responsibility.
- It is all my fault that my daughter has turned into gold. And it is also my fault for being so selfish.
- I must return immediately to Dionysus to repent for what I have done. And return things to how they once were.
- None of this was my fault to begin with! My poor beloved daughter has turned into gold!
- If King Midas hadn't been responsible and taken responsibility for his own actions...
- It was all Dionysus' fault for letting his satyr loose. All of this was his fault! I will go and confront him!
- Then Dionysus probably would've punished him for his actions. By turning him into gold and lowering him into the depths of the sea. And saving his daughter.
