yeah, i also see when it gets back to the top the kinetic energy drops even and the potential energy rises, i also see that the potential energy drop on the down swing and the kinetic energy goes up and the thermal energy goes up because of the friction
As you can see at the top of the ramp it has the most potential and little to no kinetic energy. When going down the ramp the potential energy drops and the kinetic energy goes up
When theres little to no friction and you put the mass to 5 at the top theres lots of potential energy, and when its starts to swing the potential energy goes down and the kinetic energy goes up. This repeats over and over because theres no friction so no thermal energy.
You can also see that when the mass and friction is put in the middle it has the same outcome as when the mass and friction is maxed out. It just happens slower.
