- The movement of energy from one point to another is referred to as energy transfer.

- Chuckie's and his dad were sitting on a bench when Chuckie's asked his dad about some science. Chuckie's said "can you teach me a little bit about energy transfer and energy transformation. Like what's the difference? and and some examples?". His dad said "of course I can teach you Chuckie's".
- " The movement of energy from one point to another is referred to as energy transfer. For example when electricity flows from a wall outlet to a battery through a charger. There are different types of energy transfers and that example was an electrical energy transfer. Another example would be, when you leave your car outside on a sunny day. When you get back it would be hot. This is a radiation example.

- Those were just two examples do you want two more to example to further understand. Chuckie said yes. Another example of energy transfer is when you have water and you add ice. The water gets colder because its hotter so its heat goes into the ice and becomes colder. This is an example of heating. The last example is when you kick a soccer ball. When you foot hits the ball energy is flowing from you foot to the ball.

- Then there is energy transformation. When energy shifts from one form to another, it is called energy transformation. For example when A ripe fruit falls from a tree. Before it fall it's potential energy but when it falls it transfers into kinetic energy. Another one is a diver in mid air Gravitational Energy is present and transfers to Kinetic Energy .
- Another example is a slingshot when the person compresses the slingshot or pulls it back potential energy is present. But when he lets go or decompresses it elastic energy is present. When an object is being compressed more the elasticity becomes greater. Or when a furnace starts it burns fuel PE then it becomes hot transfers to TE.
- Wow thanks dad! I really learned a lot today. I now know that energy transfer is from one thing to another. Energy transformation is one energy to another energy . Yep you got it son! here a joke son What did the light bulb say to the electric generator? what “You spark up my life!”
