- Troy why dont you just admiit you was too old to play in the major leagues

- In this scene Troy is angry because Mr.Rand only got the white workers drive and the colored men lifting, Troy feels that Mr.Rand think colored people dont have sense enough to drive. This connects to the major of Race Relationship because it shows how colored people are discriminate by they skin color and not letting them drive.
- In this scene Troy is mad because Rose was talking about hitting the numbers and pointed that Pop bought his restaurant out of the numbers which Troy didnt like the example because Pop dont give good service to colored aint nothing but potatoes and carrot, but to white people that go in there he give bowl of stew.
- In this scene Troy and Rose and talking about how good was Troy at baseball and Troy was explaining to Cory why he cant play sport at school but Troy mentions that he just wast the right color to made it to the major leagues, he say that he was better then the actual white fellows on the major but because of his skin color he couldnt make it.
