- What's all this about?
- Hallo. We are researchers.We will tell you about the study.
- We want to find out what you think about being in the CASTLE study
- Do I have to talk to you?
- OK
- We want to know about how you feel about having epilepsy
- You won't miss your school times or other times that are important to you.
- We will have 3 short talks. We will ask you some questions
- We may ask you do some games or drawings to help you think about what you want to say.
- So what will happen?
- We can talk face-to-face, through the computer or on the phone. You can choose.
- Where will we talk? Can my grown up be with me?
- You can talk to us with your grown-up(s) or on your own. You tell us what you'd like.
- What will happen to the things I say?
- We won't tell anyone what you said. We will only tell other people if we are worried about how you are feeling.
- We will record your voice when we talk to you and type up what you said.
- What happens if I want to stop talking?
- If you want to stop tell us at any time.
- We can take a break, talk another day or stop forever.
- No! If you don't want to talk to us that is OK. Just tell us.
- Just tell us what you'd like to do.
- At the end we will say thank you and give you a certificate.
- Who can I talk to if I have any more questions about this study?
- You can ask to talk to us about the study, at any time.
