- It's okay, it's not your fault!
- In this photo you see Katie going to school and getting asked insesative questions by her class mates. She is asked, "what is your native name?" "Why is your hair like that?" and "are you Chinese or Japanese?". She feels uncomftorable about it all because the teacher then says, "Where are you going to...? A party!" Then to add on classmates ignore her in the halls.
- Fire!
- In this seen you can see Katie and Lynn playing on the road until a big scary dog comes up and attacks them. They are both very scared of the dog and the situation. While the dog bites Katie's pants, Lynn pulls the dogs tail. The dog focused on Lynn and started attacking her until she fell to the ground. That's when Katie grabbed a milk bottle and threw it at the dog.
- My dad is very quiet, and only talks when needed.
- In this scene you can see Katie's mom comforting her, because Katie is forced to take her moms sewing room. The mom was mad at first, because of all the change that their family has already dealt with.
- In this scene you can see Lynn and Amber, are gossiping while people's tents caught on fire. They had no interest in helping put the fire out. Lynn wanted to help put the fire out, but Katie thought she felt pressured to talk to Amber.
- In this storyboard Lynn and Katie's dad is playing chess. Their father has a very calming presence and doesn't talk much. He works 90 hours a week to provide for his family. He is very smart, he thinks a lot and only talks when needed.
