The Underground Railroad
Slavery was very unjust for the slaves, they were not treated with respect they were not even treated like people more like animals. They were expected to work all the time and if they were seen taking a break or resting the overseer, which all slaves feared, they would get whipped.
Women didn't have much say in anything. They mostly did things like house work or soe clothes. The women basically got told what to do all the time and could not respond with any attitude or there husband would abuse her which is very harsh and mean.
The underground railroad was the escape route for the slaves, the abolitionist worked together to make the underground route for the slaves. The slaves moved out at night and would rest in the daytime.
