- It was a form of funerary art buried with the emperor Quin Shi Huang to protect him in his after life

- Qin Shi Huang was the first Chinese emperor,he was born on 18th of February 259BC and died 210BC 10 September and his reign was for 27 years

- The terracotta army was discovered on 29 March 1974 by farmers digging a well about 1.5 kilometers on the east of Qin Emperors tomb
- The terracotta army had more than an 8000 soldiers 130 chariots 520 horses and 150 cavalry horses
