- Hey ya'll how are ya? My name is Adam and I'm a modern day Texan out here enjoying the nice peacful state of Texas. I'm out here to share you a campfire story called the Texas Annexation.
- Even though the USA was the victor, Mexico however never accepeted the result of the Texas Annexation and believed that the USA had no rights in combining Texas and the USA so tensions grew over this and eventually lead towar in 1846 between Mexico and the US.

- We will help you out only if you agree to become the 28th state of the USA.
- In 1835 Anglo Texans started a revolution to leave Mexico. Over here an Anglo Texan is telling US President Polk about how people in Texas feel and there is a disagreement.
- President Polk, All of us Anglo Texans no longer would like to be a part of Mexico. Please help us. We will do anything.

- Here in 1836 Anglo Texans had won their Independence from Mexico and their home became the 28th state in the USA.
