- diary of Carrie Williams 1812 august 16 I can't believe I fought. We beat them though, thank heavens. I haven't been caught yet, so far it's been pretty good. Pretending to be a man is easier than I thought, all you have to do is look like a man, sound like a man, and smell like a man and they'll believe you.
- We won we won!
- The next morning
- I have to head back home. I love it here but I might lose my job and i'm a woman my duties are in the house at home.
- The Lady will probably be very upset wondering where I am. I bet she misses bossing me around.
