- Ok lets start with pure substances.... A pure substance is matter that is made up of only one type of atom. It will not undergo a chemical reaction. And last thing is it made into compounds and elements.
- Ok lets go!!!
- A mixture is matter that is made up of more than one type of atom, its also made into homogeneous or hetrogeneous mixtures. Last thing it can be separated into separate components unlike pure substances.
- Oh ok thank for explaining it to us.
- Ok now that you know what a pure substance is lets talk about mixtures...
- Could you give us some examples of pure substances and mixtures please?
- Yes no problem... Ok some examples of pure substances is iron, steel, gold,diamond,water, and copper.
