Main Events in Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief Chapters 1-8
Storyboard Text
- Percy and class are on a museum tour. Mrs. Dodds, Percy's math teacher, lures Percy into a room where they are alone. She then turns into a fury and tries to kill him. His other teacher, Mr. Brunner throws him a sword which he kills Mrs. Dodds with.
- Grover follows Percy home, they see three old ladies knitting very large socks. The one in the middle then cuts a yarn. Grover panics because he remembered the three old ladies are fate and when yarn is cut in front of then that means someone will die.
- Percy, Grover and Sally, Percy's mother, were driving to camp Half-Blood because hey had Percy to safety. There was a minotaur chasing them sent by Hades. They managed to get to the camp but Sally wasn't allowed inside since she was a human, the minotaur then killed Sally causing Percy to get angry and kill the minotaur.
- Percy was now awake after sleeping for a couple days after the minotaur attack. Everyone in the camp now play Capture the Flag. Percy is on Annabeth's, daughter of Athena and Luke's, son of Hermes, team against Clarisse, daughter of Ares. She and her friends then go after Percy and he ends up wounded. However when he steps into the water his wounds are healed. He feels stronger and beats up Clarisse and her friends
- Percy was undermined before Capture the Flag because they didn't know which god was his father. After the fight where he beat up Clarisse a trident showed up over Percy's head. Poseidon, Father of Horses, Earth Shaker, Storm-bringer claimed Percy as his son.
