Invasion of Normandy

- We need to attack the mainland of Europe in order to drive the Nazis out of France. It has been too long and we have attacked Northern Africa which will allow us to attack Europe more and gain more territory.
- We need to take the city of Normandy in order to cause major damage to the Nazi army in Europe. We need to attack the coastline of Normandy in order to take it, then we move further into the city, defeating the Nazis. We have tricked the Nazis into thinking that we will attack at a different time, this has given us the perfect opportunity to attack.
- Soldiers fighting the Nazis on Omaha Beach after landing on the coast of Normandy. This was the hardest fight of Normandy the troops had to face due to the Nazis having the beach be heavily protected with machine guns, mines, and bombs.
- Troops from allied countries like Americans, Canadians, and British winning the battle of Normandy. The battle was a month long and over 4,000 troops lost their lives.
- We and our allies have won the battle. This battle has taken complicated planning and many struggles, but it was worth it because now the Nazis have lost a lot of power from Europe.
- This win will be considered the beginning of the end of the war and has allowed France to be completely taken over from the Nazis. This will be the greatest battle of 1944.
