- Queen Elizabeth has a pretty good relationship with parliament.

- Gentlemen,
- After Queen Elizabeth, James I is King. James clashes with parliament and gives them his speech about absolute monarchy.
- You all have to do as I say!!!I AM THE KING!!!!
- The state of the Monarchy is the supremest thing upon earth!
- Um, no.
- After James I, Charles I inherits the thrown. Charles has the same problems with parliament and these disputes between the king and parliament leads to parliament being dissolved.
- OH, COME ON!
- Hello, Parliament! Good news, I've decided to sign the petition.
- But... I've made another decision. All of you are dissolved, Goodbye!
- WHY?!!!
- After Parliament is dissolved, they don't come back until 9 years later. When they do come back, they try and execute some of the kings ministers.
- It's too late now!

- When Charles' minister are executed, Charles is enraged. What he ends up doing is that he brings his troops over to the House of Commons.
- YOU"RE GOING TO PAY FOR THIS!!

- After the war between the king and parliament is fought, the king loses and he is executed.
